YMG Volunteer

Kaila Hu (she/her) is a rising high school senior at Lake Braddock Secondary School in Burke, Virginia. She has loved writing and storytelling since she was young, and has continued to do so as Editor-in-Chief of her high school’s newspaper and an editor of The Teen Magazine, an international digital magazine for high school students.

Kaila began volunteering for YMG in the summer of 2024 as a content writer. In college, she plans to pursue a degree in communications/journalism, in hopes of becoming a journalist.
