Pamela Rentz graduated from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University with a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism. She was the editor of the University newspaper, “The Famuan,” and is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists. 

 

She was an intern for Youthcast Media Group® in the summer of 2021 and reported on problems affecting communities that are often neglected by the government and the news media. She is passionate about mental health issues and has a special interest in how those issues affect the Black and LGBTQ+ communities. 

 

After her time at YMG, she continued her career as an intern for ESPN. She is currently a corporate communications analyst at JPMorgan Chase & Co.
