Marianne is a veteran broadcast news professional who understands well the value of early journalism training: She landed her first job in radio at 15 and interned in a TV newsroom during her senior year of high school. She began her radio career in her hometown of Rochester, NY before moving to Connecticut where she held radio roles including news director, morning show co-host, news anchor, and entertainment editor. She produced syndicated arts and entertainment features for multiple radio stations for nearly 15 years. More recently, Marianne spent nearly a dozen years producing a syndicated radio show, Conversations on Health Care, which featured the world’s top thought leaders in health policy, health innovation, and global health. She says covering the pandemic from day one of that global crisis was among the most rewarding things she’s done. She is an occasional guest talk show host for WATR in Waterbury, doing what she says she “loves most, interviewing interesting people.”

She graduated from Syracuse University with a degree in broadcast journalism and lives in Stonington, Connecticut.
